Porters Creek trail to Brushy Mtn. trail to Trillium Gap and on up to Brushy Mtn. With a side trip to see the recently restored Messer Barn. About 12 miles. Rated difficult for the climb up Brushy Mtn. trail and the spur trail to Brushy Mtn. is not easy either.
