We will try to stay cool on a three-mile morning exploration of diverse tree species and formal gardens (from vegetable to pollinator). After a squeeze through a bamboo thicket, we'll check out some dogwoods and yellowwoods and Kentucky coffee trees. We will finish with a visit to the Native Plant Rescue Squad and talk about the values of native plants while we observe a huge Kudzu patch.
