Our loop hike will begin on the Little River Trail out of Elkmont before turning onto the Huskey Gap Trail in about 2.5 miles. We head back toward Elkmont on the Sugarland Mountain Trail turning onto Fighting Creek Gap Rd before taking the old road manway to Elkmont. Nine miles. Moderate. Meet at the Kroger location in Alcoa next to a KARM store to leave at 7:30 am or at Little River Trailhead by 8:30am. Drive 70 miles RT at .07 / mile = $4.90. Carpooling is encouraged due to limited parking at the trailhead.
